My Tarot Reading Method
You hold the power to shape your destiny and transform your life, tarot simply illuminates the path.
Here’s how tarot becomes a therapeutic tool: it provides a unique way to access your subconscious and shed light on personal patterns or outdated beliefs that might be holding you back.
In my practice, I blend concepts from Carl Jung's archetypal psychology and the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. Jung introduced us to archetypes—universal, mythic characters in our collective unconscious that influence our behaviors and emotions. IFS, on the other hand, helps us understand and interact with different sub-personalities or "parts" within ourselves, each with its unique perspective and attributes.
During our sessions and workshops, we use tarot cards to dive deep into your subconscious, helping you to understand your inner world and the repetitive cycles in your life. This approach not only provides insight into possible future directions, like traditional tarot readings, but it also enhances your understanding of your own psychological makeup and personal narratives.
Whether you’re facing a life change, seeking deeper self-knowledge, or just curious about how tarot can intersect with psychology, our approach provides a meaningful and enlightening experience.
Join me in uncovering the hidden aspects of your psyche through the rich, symbolic world of tarot, and discover the messages your unconscious is eager to reveal.

About Me
“The Only Constant in Life is Change.” - Heraclitus
My name is Sarah Medeiros and I currently reside in Portland, OR with my girlfriend and the cutest dog ever. Outside of tarot, I enjoy all things that get me out into nature and I love creating art!
I have been reading tarot for over 5 years now and throughout those years I have done countless readings for myself that have helped me start to build a real relationship with myself, build my confidence, and help me heal some deep subconscious suffering I have lived with since a child. Tarot quickly became a daily practice in my life, but I was left questioning how it was working and how it was so accurate all the time.
Being raised in a religious household, my skepticism of tarot has always been very high. However, what I have learned through a lot of research and my own experience, is that tarot cards are simply misunderstood.
Tarot cards are archetypal images that trigger the conscious to bring thoughts, memories, beliefs, etc. from our subconscious to the front of our minds. This tool gives us the opportunity to identify what subconscious messages are truly ruling our everyday life and give us the opportunity to change, celebrate, or heal the things that come up.
I have always been passionate about mental health, as I have struggled with depression and anxiety since I was a child. I have done years of talk-therapy and have cycled through numerous anti-depressants. That being said, I am not advocating that my services should replace therapy OR medication, but I do believe that using tarot, even just bi-weekly or monthly, can be of great help to those of us that struggle with our mental health.
